English + Activities / Windsurfing / Sailing

Grup d'estudiants a la platja de Weymouth

(These courses are not available for summer 2022 due to Covid and Brexit restrictions.)

Homestay

For ages 13 to 17

Ideal for students who are more independent with at least an Elementary level of English.

The trip begins and ends in Andorra, but we also take students from Spain and France and collect them at the airport. Both trips are accompanied by Learn Away staff. A member of the Learn Away team accompanies the students from Andorra to the destination airport in London, where they will be handed over to staff from the English Language Centre. From here they will travel to Weymouth by bus and meet their families.
Students return to the airport at the end of the course and a member of our staff will meet them there to bring them back to Andorra.

During the stay, students are appointed a local leader. Any problem which arises can be solved quickly as the staff can be contacted at any time.

Weymouth is a small, safe town in the south West of the UK and close to many other interesting places. For more information about Weymouth and the school, please click here.

Students have a bus pass and travel to the school and back to the homestay by bus if necessary. When they are on the bus students are not supervised but the leaders make sure they catch the correct bus and there are usually other students travelling at the same time.
Students will be asked to sign a document confirming that they understand the rules and regulations of the school. Safety is important and there are very strict rules about where they can go, for how long and who they have to inform. With parental consent students can install the Life360 app on their smartphones. Help is given to install this on the first day.
